'Alaska big game hunting at it's finest," Come enjoy Kodiak Island with Kodiak Bear Guides and have an adventure of a lifetime. Whether you are after the mighty Kodiak Brown Bear, Roosevelt Elk, Mountain Goat, Sitka Black Tail Deer or the several varieties of sea ducks that winter in Kodiak Island waters, Kodiak Bear Guides can make your Alaskan dream hunt come true.
Kodiak Bear Guides offers fully guided and outfitted hunting trips for Kodiak Brown Bear, Mtn Goats, Roosevelt Elk and Sitka Blacktail Deer in some of the most productive hunting areas on Kodiak and Afognak Islands. All gear including tents, cabins, boats and of course food are top of the line. Trophy quality in these areas is very good with an excellent chance at taking that trophy of a lifetime. Bear population is at all time high with an excellent population of trophy boars. Goat population is also extremely high. Kodiak Island's highest Mountains being just over 4,000 ft and most goats taken from 1,700- 2,500 ft makes this a great goat hunt. Even though our elevations are relatively low for goats this is a very physical hunt, if you'd like I will assist you in a workout program to get you ready for this awsome hunt. We hunt Roosevelt Elk on Raspberry and Afognak Islands, these hunts are conducted via float plane or boat and based in wall tents where we can stay in the middle of some of the best Elk hunting around. Our Sitka Blacktail deer hunting is second to none with a very high population and little to no hunting pressure in our areas it makes for a fun hunt, combined with the many varities of sea ducks in the area (Harlequins, Barrows Goldeneyes, Long-tail ducks, Surf Scoters, White Wing Scoters, Common Scoters and Buffle Heads) make this a fun hunt with lots of shooting.
